Wedding vs. Marriage

Every married couple has heard the quote 'For the Better or Worse'. It is enthusiastically avowed the day we say "I Do". But as life would have it, we are faced with situations and circumstance where those words are forgotten and flushed. We keep saying nothing is perfect. Obviously no relationship is perfect, you gotta work to make it perfect, because perfection is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has their fair share of disappointments, differences and arguments. But for some reason when we are on the other side of the fence, where the grass isn't so green - we are quick to let our vows disappear and we handle things the way we promised we wouldn't, why would you do that with something you once had the utmost desire and dedication for? Did you confuse yourself with a wedding and not a marriage? How stupid! It is human nature, I agree, to let the things we can't seem to work out go away. But for obvious human reasons you cannot expect...

Learn it The Human Way

"Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. We have to understand that knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying." -Grey's Anatomy Life could not just be the teacher we had back in school could it. It has to give us the lesson first and be the teacher afterwards. How not right. Well obviously nothing is right if I keep measuring it up the scale of norms. Lol "Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves" I have seen for myself, how I could do in relationships. I have been a friend, a lover, loving parents, brothers, sisters, and I cannot thank my God enough to give me a flavor of each of life's phases. Though a lot more has to come, but what has, sure has been significa...

Timely Relationships

According to Stephen R. Covey, little kindness and courtesies are so important. In relationships, the little things are the big things. How do you keep the flame of love burning? Do it in a T.I.M.E.L.Y fashion. T houghtfully and tenderly : As it is always written outside every carton containing glasses: “Handle with Care”. It is the same with human relationships. It is as fragile as a glass. Be considerate of the feelings of the other person in whatever you do. Just be thoughtful and treat each other with care. I ntimately : Promote moments of intimacy like a candlelight dinner or a late night TV show when there is nobody else to disturb your togetherness. Intimacy brings a relationship to a higher level. M aturely : Do not be emotional. Communicate and discuss matters with respect and support for each other. Attack the issue and not the person. E nduringly : Understand the financial situation and be happy with what you have in life and enjoy the moment....

Bonjour le monde!!! I'm in a such great mood today! This morning I received a beautiful email and it makes me feel so good and so special that I have such amazing people around me. It really doesn't matter that we don't know each other face to face, it doesn't matter that we live miles away from each other. It really doesn't matter, because one email, one phone call, one comment and the world seems to be a paradise. Thank you so much for being here. My Lovelies, life seems to be good. Step by step, day by day I like my life even more. I can't really explain that because physically nothing really has changed but me, myself I have changed a lot. I see myself in a different light and believe me, I like it ♥ I have grown so much since last year, I'm much more stronger and I finally am confident as I should be! You all, my readers motivate me, inspire me, influence me to the point you could not imagine. And for that I'd like to thank you. You are ...

... don't just stay at home waiting for his call stop lying to yourself the last goodbye was enough to close the door and let him go... ... everything has changed now it's time to love yourself... it's time to love yourself...

It's a simplest thing, always so hard to see.

At times we become friends with the most unlikely people in the most unpredictable manner. Too many times friendships break for the most unfathomable reasons. I don’t understand how people can break off relationships which took ages to form in the blink of an eye. It takes a lot of personal investment to form a relationship of any sort. You invest time, attention and most importantly a lot of your own self in the process. One would suppose that if for nothing else then personal benefit people would try to sustain it and yet they don’t. While I can talk to people as long as I desire, as much as I wish there are very few where I become emotionally involved. However when this does happen then I embark on this journey of exploration of ‘us’ with permanence in mind. Naive, maybe, idiotic definitely! I never for a moment imagine that I would lose touch with you or that you wouldn’t be a very important part of my life for as long as I breathe. It took me this per...
