Fairy Tale or Nightmare?

skip to main | skip to sidebar "...and sometimes...just in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale" But do fairytales come true?? In reality its almost always that the nightmares with horrible endings come true.. the fairytales with happy endings are often restricted to dreams and storybooks :) Love does make us live in a fairytale but is it fair to do so knowing that the bubble can burst anytime... Its true that sometimes just in the middle of an ordinary life love gives us a fairytale, but sometimes its also true that just in the middle of a fairytale, life is contemplating on a nightmare with memories to haunt us for the rest of our lives... Just thought people should be aware of both sides of love... we always go for the fairytale however great is the risk of it being shortlived.. we never learn do we? :) Each relationship always has two sides, not a good one and a bad one, or a right one and a wrong one, but...

You can never go back.

We are so quick to judge other people’s life choices, aren’t we? If someone’s choices don’t align with the ones we make ourselves, we immediately get boldfaced about it, we act shocked and worried and like things would be so much better had they thought twice about what they did. We worry about their future regrets and all the bad that might come to them. When someone gets married young, at what we call the ‘ripe age of…’ and insert any number under the age of 25, we get so shocked. We fear that they are throwing their lives away, that they are making a huge mistake in choosing love at such a young age. We pull out statistics, call them stupid and ignorant, regardless of the fact that we are acting the same way by judging them so. Some say: They haven’t even really lived yet, why are they condemning themselves to this marriage? We put our own regrets and the mistakes we’ve made onto others. This weekend I met someone who is 35 and unmarried with no relationship prospects...

On your journey to...

"On your journey to your dream, be ready to face oasis and deserts. In both cases, don't stop" I have been suffering lately for the lack of inspiration. I think I need some time for my own to come back stronger and more powerful. Sometimes we have days like that when we don't even want to open our laptop. In the meantime while I am looking for things to talk about I am leaving you with Paulo Coelho and hope that you all are doing more than great. By the way.... I've never thought that I will ever have to agree with this quote. Apparently I have to do it now.

Dear heart ♥

Image
Dear heart at some point in my life I thought that I will never find what love is. When I have gotten mature enough I felt like all men are the strangest and the most difficult species to understand on earth! Well I didn't know at that time that first I should become understandable to myself. It was and still is the longest, the most honest and the deepest road you can ever take, on the other hand it's one of the most amazing, the most beautiful and the purest journey you could ever imagine! After some time I did fall in love. Then I fell in love again. I loved deeply. They all passed by. Then I met someone and he has shown me the new meaning of l o v e . Wouldn't be great to close my eyes and feel his breathe on my neck and hands around my waist! Wouldn't be great to see his passionate sight, to see him wanting and desiring me. Wouldn't be great to smile without a reason! Wouldn't be great to immerse myself in those dreams of future with him. F...

Love is ..

Love is a noble act of self-giving, offering trust, faith, and loyalty. The more you love, the more you lose a part of yourself, yet you don't become less of who you are; you end up being complete with your loved ones. Love is like a piece of artwork in the works; if you are not satisfied, you keep on beautifying it until it becomes very wonderful. Love is as much of an object as an obsession, everybody wants it, but few ever achieve it. Those who do will cherish it, be lost in it, and among all will never forget it. Love is a powerful addiction for the human soul. Even people that have not experienced it, yearn for the chance to give and receive it from someone special. Love is one powerful host -- A force less energy that makes all light spin. It spins our hearts. It spins our minds. How we balance ourselves to this sudden chaos and crazy motion is our own fine line. Love is like a wonderful feeling of compassion and satisfaction. It should be given respec...

I want to be his Strength ..

He smiled. And I could discern the pain written all across that smile. A fake smile. Just like the fake facets he had been made to live with, for the length of his life – an entirely undeserved sentence. I wanted to extend my hand, touch him and let him know it was real. I wished to enter into that aura of containment that hid him from the whole world, me included. But the frailty of that curtain thwarted all my attempts. Every step I took forward had to be receded on the fear of ending up wrong. The distrust in his eyes never turned into the slightest shimmer of hope. And I stood, all the while, at a distance drawn between us. I’d see the scandalous eyes that lingered upon him and satiated their dirty expectations in his sickness. Their smiles depended upon his ghastly pallor and every second of every minute I stood there, it cut me down to my very core. Pain – an unnamed, unwanted pain that surmounted every time I faced him. And he always kept looking down, in his ...

Before 30

Image
“Before 30” is just two years away and as freaked out I am as a single woman, you ought to know that I hate jokes about age. Yes I have matured and been in control of myself slow and gradual but there is much that has been done, and much that is left to do before 30. No I am not intending to die. Death is a far away tale and no where happening in the future at hand. I am talking more in terms on the things to do, habits to rid off, things to acquire, destinations to reach and make a living out of a life I surely seem to be dragging. No what ifs about ‘if I stay single’ I’ll marry myself if I have to but you wont find me single, NO! This Wednesday you’ll be entertained with how prepared and not prepared I am for 30. as scary as the digit is, it has its pros too. And with prayers and blessings I’ll make it through! Things I should stop doing before 30 1. Romanticizing my 20s 2. Rebelling against my parents for the sake of rebelling against my parents. 3. Living paycheck to pay...
